Akshay Gupta, M.D.

Dr. Akshay Gupta is one of Atlanta Heart Associates’ newest additions.  Dr. Gupta moved to Atlanta from Chicago where he completed his fellowship in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at Rush University Medical Center.  Dr. Gupta graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and earned his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina.  He specializes in Cardiac Electrophysiology and has a special interest in palpitations, syncope, sudden death, permanent pacemakers, defibrillators and ablations.  Dr. Gupta is seeing patients at our Stockbridge and Riverdale offices.
