Muthusamy Sekar, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Muthusamy Sekar earned his medical degree from Madras Medical College, Madras University, India in 1982. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at State University of New York at Buffalo and a fellowship in Cardiology at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. Prior to his arrival to the United States, Dr. Sekar was trained in Cardiology in England. He worked as a Registrar in Cardiology in Sunderland City Hospital and then a Registrar in Transplant Cardiology in Harefield Hospital, the largest transplant Hospital in the world. He is a member of Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is currently serving as the Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Spalding Regional Medical Center.
